A good friend of mine came up from Durban this weekend and we had big plans to tear up the town. We hardly left the house. We did get out a little bit but the vast majority of the weekend was spent talking and drinking wine in my living room. We had plans to do things but usually by the time we got around to it, it was too late to make it whereever we were going.
My week at work has been like that too. I can't for the life of me figure out what I've spent a whole week on but I haven't had a free minute since I rolled into work. Too much meeting and not enough doing. At least my evaluation is done and over for another year. Now I can start really slacking off.
