"...til boredom overtook us, and he began to speak."
I've got all my decorations, but I don't have my tree yet. Am planning on picking one of the little Baobab trees made out of palm fronds from one of the markets around here. They usually have a decent selection over by the Union Buildings. Something to get me out of the house this weekend.
I know I've been uncommunicative on many fronts for a while now, and I promise to be more... communicative in the mid-distance future. But just now I am in a bit of a preparatory panic for my course in France and have more reading and studying to do.
Hopefully, I'll overcome the studying boredom enough in the next week or so to post again, but in case I don't, Merry Christmas and best wishes to all my very scattered loved ones. Especially the ones I haven't talked to in a while.
Enjoy your season of peace, good-will, and eggnog.

Love you, and THANK YOU FOR THE STAMPS.
Holy shit.
That was the most thoughtful, generous, caring gift I've ever received in my entire life. Wow.
Thank you.
Oh, I wish I could give you a bear hug so badly!
Merry Christmas to you, my friend. Love and miss you.
