The Kite Runner

I ran down a kite! They do fly a lot of kites here. It's pretty cool to see a couple dozen of these guys up there zipping around and it's really amazing the kinds of acrobatics they can dow with do with these flimsy things - they're bobbin n weavin n attacking each other and cutting each others strings. Some of the local guys fly them on their lunch break and sometimes you have some from outside that get cut loose and land here in the compound so you do get a chance to run after them from time to time.
This guy looks like he might have lost more than one fight but I still felt pretty proud to get my hands on him.
