The Food Babes

So I only really got satellite TV so I could get the French channel back when I needed to pass my language test. But now I have been unable to cut the cordlessness and let it loose, primarily because of Tamasin and Laura. There's just something about Laura kneading an herbe de provence boule or Tamasin extolling the virtues of using local ingredients in your cottage pie that holds my attention and leaves me wanting more. Who knew that spraying a bit of water on your loaf before putting it in the oven will give you a crisper crust. Not I!
I enjoy cooking but, since it's just me, I don't tend to do it very often. So it's nice to pick up some cooking hints and dish ideas for use somewhere down the road. It may also just be that there are few things on the planet that are sexier than a delicious woman talking about food.
