Hasta
It's finally Pack-Out Day. I'm puttering about while the packers are wrapping and stacking. This is the week of the many goodbyes and much bustling about. I really don't mind leaving the Republic In Which I Stand but I have made some good friends here that I will miss a great deal. I'll be living out of suitcases for the next month and a half and then living on not much else for the next year while I'm out in the Stan, keeping the world safe for carpet buying. I haven't had much time to process the process as there is still much bustling to be done - i's to dot and t's to cross - and I've already sold my car. And there's the nice part too - the many farewell dinners, lunches, and parties to grin sheepishly at. I will miss this group, many of which I've just gotten to know. Some I'll see down the road and some... Well, I suppose that is life, eh? I guess we just try to enjoy each others company for as long as we have it.
